Review on Wilton 2105 6806 Perfect Nonstick 5 25 Inch by Gregory Sirgio

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The perfect size for easy New England style hot dog buns.

I bought 2 of these to make New England style whole wheat hot dog buns because they are wider than a medium sized loaf pan so they make longer buns. a slice of bread. Then I put half of the batter in each loaf pan and press down to spread (see Photo 1). Then I let the dough rise for 20-30 minutes. I then brush the top of the batter with milk before sealing the pans tightly with greased foil. They go in my oven at 350F for 15 minutes, then I remove the foil and let them bake for another 10 minutes or until inside. Temperature 190F. I then take it out of the oven, let it cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the molds and then let it cool on a wire rack for 30 minutes before slicing. Cutting them into buns is very easy. First, cut thin slices from both ends of the loaf. Then you cut the bread in half. Then cut each half into 3 equal parts. You will end up with 6 slices of bread that are half the height but twice the thickness of a regular slice. Then, carefully cut a slit at the top, making sure the slit isn't deeper than you went all the way through. Toast the buns in a skillet with some oil, pop one of those long hot dogs in the slot, and add your toppings (see Photo 2).
