I bought this longboard on a whim. My 9 and 6 year old daughters recently took up skateboarding and I got bored in the park watching them skateboard on the basketball court. I thought about getting a skateboard, but as a 44-year-old, 5'7" and 250-pound guy, I didn't think getting back on a regular skateboard was a good idea. I knew I wouldn't be doing stunts like I did when I was a teenager and I would most likely injure myself. I just wanted something fun to ride while the girls roll. I thought longboarding would be fun. Around the same time I happened to see this longboard on Slickdeals.net for a good price. So I pulled the trigger and ordered. With that in mind, I LOVE THIS DONGBOARD! As a tall guy, I was worried if this longboard would be strong enough for my weight. The board is solid. It easily supports my weight and appears to be very durable. Longboard wheels are great. I like that they are oversized and can ride on pavement, grass or hard ground and switch between them without too much trouble. When I rode it yesterday I was amazed at how smooth my ride was. The smooth ride definitely helped me gain confidence after not skateboarding in the last 25 years. In terms of handling, you can easily get over cracks or small stones in the sidewalk or pavement with this longboard. It's very easy to shift your weight and take some pretty tight corners. Again, it really helped me to ride with confidence again. Overall I like this board. I had so much fun riding horses with my daughters yesterday. They liked that I not only played on my phone while they skated, but skated with them. I definitely can't wait to ride it more often when the weather is better. Good product!
