I bought Frogg Toggs for a trip to Alaska and wasn't sure they would be enough to keep me warm and dry. The first day I put them on we were fishing for halibut and salmon on a boat in high winds and choppy water. I'm naturally layered and was hoping my Frogg Toggs would do the job. Almost 8 hours later I was completely dry and only my hands were cold from being wet and windy as we drove back to the lodge. even though we had waders. I'm so glad I did because my waders are leaking. My socks were a little wet, but my pants were completely dry. I didn't even realize there was a leak until we got back and I took off my boots because my Frogg Toggs kept me dry so well. were a little noisy, but no worse than a winter jacket or something made of plastic. I didn't want to sneak up on anything, so it wasn't a problem for me, and it's worth making a bit of noise to stay warm despite the Alaskan wind and water. I would buy them again without hesitation.
