I've used MANY different types of wax melts over the years. Never had any problems. I started this and woke up in the middle of the night coughing. I haven't thought much about it. I also gave one of the two packages to my mother. I mentioned it to her and she said so. and three other family members. I also woke up with a cough. We wondered if it was melted wax. But I put it down to the fact that we all caught a cold at the same time or something. Spring. We both prevented the wax from melting. All recovered very quickly. We were fine for over 24 hours. Decided to give swimming trunks another try. then BOOM! The same terrible coughing fit. I told my mom to try again. I didn't mention that I started coughing again. She called me the next day and said everyone in the house was coughing like crazy again. I don't know what this thing is. but it caused terrible fits of coughing to many people. Seems pretty bad. We have been using wax melts for many years and have never had any problems. Maybe we're all allergic to something in these particular. I'm not sure. but i wanted to share my experience.
