What I need for household items
Easy fix for my two Pokemon Emerald cartridges. I carefully used the old solder from the cartridges instead of using new solder. He put the cartridge over the old plate, touched the old battery's solder with the soldering gun, dripped it onto the plate, waited for it to harden, took the lump of metal and carefully placed it on the new one. battery pins and then touched carbide with a soldering gun to melt it over the battery contacts. No problems so far - 5 months later. The battery seems to last in both cartridges.
