Follow the assembly instructions for these shorts. I ordered a large size and they are perfect. I'm 6ft 1in, about 195 and waist 32-34in. The lining is comfortable but not tight like a supportive lining. I didn't use the inside pocket for my phone but I carry my ID in it. There are two outer pockets on each leg and a zippered back pocket. I've worn and washed them several times, not without problems. I would buy them again.
