It has helped me learn a lot about my game without interrupting my round, wasting time or distracting me from golf to enjoy. By my second round, I'd gotten into the habit of doing a practice swing, tapping the machine, and then hitting. I wear it clipped to my belt and it reads through my rain jacket and will probably read through your pants if you want to keep it in your pocket. It's very accurate and the website/app is great too - easy to use and download information and then analyze your lap. The device holds a charge of at least 2 rounds at a time and is easy to set up. Tags are quick and easy to attach to your clubs. I had no problems with hardware or software. It changed my playing style (showed me that I actually hit 5i longer than 4i on average because I'm so inconsistent with 4i. And that I was hitting 9i about 10 yards longer than I thought). I only started golfing last year and I'm still in a 21 handicap but now I play golf every weekend. It taught me a lot about the shots I threw, what I need to work on in general, and the shot-to-shot decisions I make during the round.
