I bought this right angle extension for a setup that was having problems with the gap next to the wall. The cable assembly itself is of very good quality (there is no sense of cheapness, sloppiness here), but there is one detail that does not allow it to get more stars - the fastening tab on the rectangular part. I don't know if it's the shape of the pull tab or the weird rubber boot, but I can't open the locking tab to pull the cable out with my bare fingers. I have to use a flathead screwdriver to pry the tab out. I've tried this end of the cable on various devices and figured it wasn't the cable that was the problem, but in all cases I still needed some sort of tool to depress the locking tab just enough to release it. I have many CATx/RJ45 cables with the same boot design and they all come loose easily - all but this particular one. Otherwise the rest of the cable is very good. Network speeds remain the same and connections are reliable and solid.
