Not best chews on dogs
I bought two for my grandchildren's pet mixes. They've gnawed through all the other beds, but these two are still intact. Now that they're older, chewing on everything has stopped, but they have plenty of toys to chew on and easy access to a backyard where they chew on branches and their toys. So it could be that the pads are still intact due to all of the above factors. Would buy this pillow again.
