Review on Pentax K-5 IIs Camera Body by Adam Joks ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

I love cinema. When I finally got my hands on a functional set of K-mount optics, I was completely clear in my mind about the brand of digital camera that I wanted to purchase. When I am looking for something to photograph later on film, I use this camera as a "sighting" camera. In addition, the camera is utilized in the process of film digitization. I have not even begun to explore all of the capabilities of the gadget yet, but in terms of photography, the manual mode finds it in excellent shape. Ergonomics are fantastic. The camera is quite simple to use, and if you have previous familiarity with other Pentax products, you can practically get away without reading the instruction booklet at all.

Pros
  • Compatible with the broadest possible selection of reasonably priced optics of the greatest possible quality that have a K mount. On the camera are mounted lenses that have K mounts, as well as KAF and KAF2 mounts. All of these lenses have the option of operating in manual mode, so a photographer who isn't primarily focused on reportage photography likely does not require any additional features. Pentax formally commits to releasing a full-frame camera onto the market in 2022, at which point all of my existing lenses will be compatible with the new format.
Cons
  • Haven't met yet
