Review on Saucony Men's Guide ISO 2 Road Running Shoe: Performance and Support in One by Robert Grimm

Do not overtighten ISO

ISO Saucony feels too tight at first. After more experimentation and more than 90 miles I figured it out. Unlike most shoe updates, ISO is about more than looks. It actually wraps around the midfoot as advertised. However, it seems too narrow or cramped in this area. The main thing is not to overtighten the laces. Let the ISO lacing system breathe. This solved my size problem and made it a perfect upgrade from Guide 9, 10 etc. I don't know why Saucony doesn't say anything about it in his literature. Their entire line goes to ISO and others I've spoken to have noticed the same thing. Specialty running shops don't know what to say to Saucony fans when asked if the new styles are too tight/tight. I'm finally back with my favorite Guide Saucony series.
