This is a pretty good light for the mostly plastic construction and $17 price. The plastic is thicker and sturdier than dollar store lanterns. The lantern is only 8" tall, but it is pretty bright if turn the dial up all the way. It is bright enough to light up a camping tent or a picnic table or a small work area.The lantern has a USB-C charging port, but for some reason it will not charge with my phone charger, which uses international standard USB-C Power Delivery. I have to use a USB-A power supply with a USB-A to USB-C cable, which is really inconvenient since I don't use USB-A power supplies for anything else any more.
