Review on 🩹 Mepitac 298300 Soft Silicone Tape – Versatile and Gentle Adhesive Tape for Wounds, Scars, and Medical Care by Clarence Calcara

This is the exact same scar tape I bought from the surgeon's office. I have large scars on my chest post surgery and this tape lasted me about 3 weeks when used as recommended (3 days, 1 day off, repeat). The first thing I noticed was that like everyone else with darker skin, the area around my scars was darker, making it appear like the scars were wider than they really were, and it didn't look right either. However, I continued to use it and I'm glad I did! My scars have turned pink and faded in places to match or as close as possible to my skin tone. However, the adhesion on this tape is not that good. Some parts come loose on contact with water, but this can be fixed with a simple hand squeeze.
