Doesn't fit like Native Jefferson

I tried sizes 8 and 8.5 hoping they were a loose fit but not heel slipping. This brand doesn't have the relaxed fit of The Native Jefferson so I brought it back. (I used to buy Native Jefferson M7/W9 shoes, which fit me well, but in July 2021 they started slipping in the heel; when I tried to size them down, they were too tight.) My shoe size: Wear normally Women's size 8 in classic shoes and sandals and 8.5 in tennis and running shoes.
