I stumbled upon this post after owning a ski/wakeboard boot for several years. I have used various 303 products for the marine application they were originally made for. I've been using auto parts spray for a good 3-5 years now and wouldn't consider anything else. It is extremely easy to apply (on a clean/washed car) and leaves the surface very slippery like the best wax work you have ever seen. I've tried all the other ready made products and some of them are similar but inferior. I've even used very expensive Zaino products and still prefer the 303 Superior line of products. It doesn't leave streaks, doesn't absorb much and washes out very easily for amazing shine and glide. Even after applying several coats of different waxes, apply them as a spray top coat. The only moderately mild comment I would make is that once the car has been exposed to rain this stuff seems to come off easier than I did, although the base wax still makes a good drop of rainwater and it only takes almost a few minutes Without any trace. Trouble restoring the car with spray detailing -- When I'm in a hurry, I just do the horizontal surfaces (hood, roof, trunk) and windows. The best I've found for both auto and marine just can't be beat. The bottles and packaging have changed several times over the years, just make sure it says "Automotive Detailer Spray".
