I was waiting for C1 mainly because of all sorts of nuances with HDMI 2.1, now the receiver is waiting, which will work fine with it) I myself would not change C8 to C1 within the same diagonal (we did not change it), there is no particular jump. However, happy with the purchase.
- We use it exclusively as a monitor (only movies and occasionally sports) for HTPC on Ryzen 4650G. HDMI 2.1 on such a bundle works flawlessly. Mini comparison with 55C8. The image quality was quite satisfactory, no obvious improvement was noticed, as it was very good, it remained so. The sound has gotten better, but there's still room for improvement. Everything was fine with the pixels on the first try, we also do not observe other problems.
- The back is white. Not that it is a very important drawback, but the purpose of such a color scheme is not obvious. It seems there are models with a black , but our PCT is white. Traditionally not very practical design: the upper part is thin gl, which is better not to hold it. Together with his wife, they still hanged him, but already at the limit. 55 is quite possible to hang alone, for 77 already 2 strong men will be required) There are no significant shortcomings in the context of use.
