This is a smart little oven. It burns hot, requires no additional fuel, and is a joy to light a mini campfire when camping (local laws and weather permitting). Cut yourself collecting this slab if you try to force it. Another downside I've found with this stove is that it coats your dishes in creosote, which can make cleaning quite a chore if you don't have direct access to water. . The stove itself has a carrying case that protects other items in my backpack, but the dishes I have to clean the outside of with a sponge after each use, or if there's no water around, carefully stow them away in another large bag, like a gallon of a Ziploc freezer, and then take it out and wash it if some water actually spills down the path during the day. This is not an absolute hurdle and I still use this oven frequently, but I think buyers should be aware of these precautions when looking at this oven.
