I convert slides to keep for my family and I won't be photoshopping them. The files are 72 dpi and the files are 4-5mg each. If I needed a higher resolution I would buy something else. I'm glad Titan is easy to use as I copy over 1000 slides from the 1950's to 1970's. I expect the colors of the slides to be a bit different than they were in the 1950s and 60s, so the results don't bother me. If the slide is vertical or not quite in place you may see black borders on either side, but the first two slides here are from 1958 and look great. The covered bridge is from 1964 and unfortunately there are age spots on this slide. a large screen that makes it easy to ignore blurry or boring slides.
