I have this to connect a small solar panel to a trailer battery which powers some lights and a jack. The cable was perfect for this application. I tested the panel output before and after the cable, there was no noticeable voltage difference. The flat profile wasn't important to me, but it could be useful under certain circumstances. The cable that came with the solar panel was male on both ends, which posed a bit of an issue as the cable couldn't replace the original like I intended. I had to use the original cable in addition to this core for the plugs to work. This is not the product's fault, but in some cases it can be a problem. It was long enough to reach from the roof of the closed trailer to the drawbar where the battery was located. Delivery was fast and my order was correct.
