I received these towels along with Prince Lionheart towels at a baby shower and found them completely unnecessary but kept them as it was a well intentioned gift. Now I consider them indispensable! Leaves baby cleaner than disposable wipes, with no chemicals or waste. As mentioned in other reviews, the bamboo material is a bit delicate and can fray around the edges if left unattended. But maintenance is easy! Next to the changing table I keep a laundry bag in which I put used handkerchiefs. When I have about 5 towels dirty, I toss the whole bag in the washing machine along with other baby clothes or cloth diapers. You don't have to dry them (they are WET towels!) This worked great, my baby is 4 months old now and we still use the original towels. We also use other, thinner cotton towels (also available from Revain), typically for diaper changes just to pee. But these thicker bamboo towels are great for cleaning up poop! What I love most is that I mix a few drops of tea tree oil, lavender oil, olive oil, and organic baby soap in 2 cups of water and pour this mixture onto paper towels before placing in the greenhouse. The end result is a soft, warm washcloth that smells great, softens baby's skin, and we've never had diaper rash! LOVE this product! ---- UPDATE: My baby is now 8 months old and we still use the same wipes we wash in hot water every few days and now I'm too lazy to play around with my laundry bag. ;) You just go to the laundry with diapers and that's it. Oh, sometimes they go through the dryer too. One pair has frayed edges, but we still use them. Came back today to order more as we no longer use disposable wipes. It is great!
