Review on Enhanced Visual Experience with KODAK Auto Rotate Mountable Programmable Precious Slideshow 10", IPS by Shane Freeman

Nice frame with nice display

The 10-inch Kodak digital photo frame is well made, attractive and has a nice display. The frame is beautifully crafted from real wood, has a glass top and a mat around the display. There is a small chrome Kodak logo in the lower right corner. Everything is well put together and the frame looks great on the mantel. I exported about 3200 photos from Adobe Lightroom with the same resolution as the frame and put them on the SD card. I then inserted this card into the slot on the back of the frame. The frame immediately recognized the card and images and began playing. So no problems with installation and start. There is also a USB drive slot and onboard storage on the back. The frame has a very high quality display. The resolution is high, so photos look good up close. Color saturation, brightness and contrast of the display are also excellent. It even has a good wide viewing angle. Overall, the photos on the display look crisp, colorful and really impactful. The framework is pretty easy to use, but there aren't any actual instructions, so you'll have to figure it out yourself. The menu system and included remote are easy to figure out mostly through trial and error. There are options for how long photos are displayed, what kind of transition, and how they fill the frame. Landscape photos fill the frame perfectly, but portrait photos either have black bars on the sides, are stretched, or are enlarged. Too bad the frame can't align them somehow. You can also set a timer to turn the frame on and off automatically every day. In general. wonderful digital picture frame.
