Added this pole and its 12 inch counterpart to the bath/shower in the guest bathroom when we needed to use this product for a few weeks. Although I didn't install it myself. , the contractor (who does other jobs around the house) who did this used my striking tool. He used his own tile drill, but they are readily available at "big box" stores. So I could do it myself, but lazy. Pretty Easy Installation Find the studs (the hardest part), drill holes in the faux marble and drywall, and drive in the screws (nice, long, and strong). To get OC 16" cleats, I said a few things to myself about there being no 16" cleat for a flat install (that I've found in this style). However mounted at an angle (lower end at the back of the tub and upper end at the faucet/shower end) which encloses 2 bolts. This worked very well for a couple of oldies to feel safer (the 'polished' rough surface helps), get in and out and shower there.
