Very good shaft. I am very satisfied with the Moen handrails they make. As a contractor and one who has delivered many handicaps to clients over the years, they have been one of the best. Three things to keep in mind for those trying to find a rod for their needs: 1. Moen makes rods in two diameters - 1 1/4" and 1 1/2". Both are ADA approved, it all depends on your needs. How can a simple 30 minute project turn into a 3 hour challenge? I KNOW BECAUSE OF THE CHEAP WOOD SCREWS THAT ARE SUPPLIED. The handrail is ok, but not outstanding. Trying to figure out how to remove the end screw covers isn't that easy. You have to work like a goddamn chipmunk to make ends meet here.
