Revainrating 1 out of 5

I sent the camera back. Overestimated 1

οƒΌ According to the documentation, the battery should be charged in 7-10 hours. Depending on where you placed the camera, you may need to remove it to charge it, or you can purchase a solar panel. I have found that I can charge the battery with my Anker backup battery (Eufy - say Argus camera - part of Anker) for my iPhone/iPad without having to remove the camera, run electrical cables or buy a solar panel. panel… and it lasted 5 hours instead of 7-10 and I still got a 2 out of 4 in my backup battery! Pros β€’ Easy to install and connect to a router β€’ Inexpensive, fairly well-rounded, feature-rich camera. β€’ Roughly the same functionality as systems costing much more than Con*. The battery doesn't last long. I only had 5 days. When you lower sensitivity to save battery life, the system misses a lot of activity. It's already skipping some instances. I was led to believe they would give me another battery but the promises dragged on and never materialized. While tech support is responsive, it is located in China and there is a time and language issue. β€’ Reading from the microchip is very slow. Almost useless. Completely impractical and missing mayor! Forces you to pay cloud fees β€’ In the cloud, you cannot view videos horizontally, but you can click on them to enlarge them. β€’ The quality is not the best and not the worst. This is acceptable, but it is an individual decision. β€’ The camera starts recording slowly, leaving blank frames because the subject is already out of frame. He let us through as we drove down the driveway 4ft from the camera! Set the recording to 30 seconds. Yes. This consumes more battery. β€’ Not intuitive. When you live view an image in full screen horizontally, you lose some of the buttons you need, such as B. to set, play videos, etc. If you click on the screen, some of them will be returned. You have to switch from one screen to another to see the videos stored in the microchip or in the cloud. You can only turn on the light and siren in vertical live view as these buttons are not displayed horizontally. It's not immediately obvious until you're familiar with the app.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost never
