Review on Country Lane Natural Soy Wax Candle Making Kit: Create Homemade DIY Candles by Carol Miller

This candle set was a lot of fun and includes everything in the picture. I also bought a thermometer after reading the reviews and I should have bought more wax and flavorings! The flavor it comes with doesn't smell at all when burnt so I don't know if it's my fault or if it's the smells. The instructions tell you to do things at certain temperatures, but I wasn't sure when it came to something at a lower temperature, should I turn off the heat completely or just remove the pan and let it sit for a bit, I had no idea! The color was quite pastel green when it solidified and they burn well just no smell. To do this, you need to get very close. The kit says to use all the wax, and it fills all the containers in the kit and then some! I had a pixelated silicone heart mold that cost $1, so I made cupcakes for my heating pad. But they are useless but cute because of the smell problem. All in all a good starter kit. I recommend more wax, more scent, a thermometer, and even a beginner's book. Have fun!
