I've been using a tail bag on my mountain bike and eBike for years. However, at the age of 71, it became difficult and even dangerous to jump over this obstacle with your foot. My grandson put a Roswheel saddlebag on his eBike and loved it, but $60 felt like a big investment for something I may not need or use. $20 for a bag of BV isn't that big of a deal. So far I'm really impressed with the design and quality of this bag. I've done a few grocery trips and have been very happy with the amount of groceries I was able to carry without cluttering the bags or making the bike almost impossible. With my gnarled arthritic hands it can be difficult to use 4 buckles at times. I reshaped the ends of the straps (so they resemble "arrows") to make this a little easier. I really like how the bags turn into a pretty handy suitcase with a handle in the middle. This makes it more convenient to take valuables with you on errands; I can easily take them with me without unloading my bags. The zippers appear to be reasonably well made and durable, although not waterproof. Smaller side pockets are handy for tools and books or a laptop/tablet. While bags are not waterproof, they are definitely water-repellent.
