Review on Water Cooling System for Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420, Black/ARGB by Wiktor Malczyk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

Bought initially to cool i9 9900QQLS, overclocked to 5000 with a voltage of 1.4V. Did the job, temperatures were kept at 60-65 in a 100% OCCT run for 5 minutes. When I took the i9 12900k - I got temperatures in the OCCT stress test - 92 degrees at the peak in 5 minutes. And such a system should have cooled better, but apparently a weak pump and a small base do their job. In principle, it copes with cooling. It will not fit in every case, I have it in Phanteks Enthoo 719 - in the upper part. - 04/27/2023 I bought a 13900K and then I came across the fact that this device does NOT cope with it. I had to downvolt the processor - reduced the peak power to 180W. In games, the temperature is about 80C. By the way - about 12900K, I changed the thermal paste to Thermal Grizzly Kryonavt Extreme (like so, not at hand) iii.

Pros
  • - Large heatsink with three 140mm fans - Backlight
Cons
  • - The water block does not make a serious impression. Somehow it is too light and flimsy to the touch. The copper sole of a small area, which will worsen the heat intake, since the area of interaction with the liquid is lower. - There will be a problem with connecting the backlight if you do not have an extension cord. You can buy it, of course, for 500-600, or you can make it yourself by buying everything in radio products - but this is not serious.
