Review on πŸƒ 3DFitBud Simple Step Counter Walking 3D Pedometer - Clip & Lanyard Included (Model A420S) by Myel Shuey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Counts steps well. Period. Point.

I checked the pedometers three days before buying. The differences between, say, the top 8 brands are remarkably diverse and complex. Eventually I realized what I wanted and it took me another day to narrow the field. This 3Dfitbud was my choice. I am a senior and would like to assess my daily walking. First, I learned to ignore all the hype about "accuracy." It doesn't matter from one day to the next. Each day is linked to the previous one. Enough. This greatly reduced the field, I no longer had to measure my step, figure out how to enter it into the pedometer, and so on. Second, the most advanced pedometers have the smallest fonts and windows. I need to be able to easily see what is written there to reduce the margin even further. Third, I don't have a smartphone and don't need all that other "medical" information. The cost is given for this 3dfitbud and that's it. I just want a reasonable amount from a day to my next walk. Fourth, it has a 10-level hurdle, so it doesn't account for "couch" moves, etc. Works for me; some don't like it. Forget what some reviews say. It attaches to his pants and does not come off. You can put it in your pocket or wear it around your neck. And the results are within 15% of each other. I checked them all. Again, it's appropriate as long as you wear it the same way. Switch from pants to neck, your numbers will matter less. Finally, it's easy to read with really big numbers. He doesn't keep her day after day. Take it off overnight, note the number, press the reset button on the back and you're good to go tomorrow. It beckons. My normal count before that was about 4800 steps. With a little determination, I can walk up to 8,000-12,000 steps a day in a week. I like this result. By the way, in case you haven't thought about it, every foot counts. Forward right, forward left, that's two steps :)
