I find this necklace more beautiful and interesting than the photos accompanying the product description. I thought it looked pretty dainty even though it's made of metal beads, but it's not. In fact, it looks pretty strong and is quite heavy with three strands. This necklace is medium length, about 36 inches long of which 12 inches is on the chain, otherwise it would be much heavier. It hits me about 4 inches below my breastbone. Gold metal alloy beads are small, approximately 1/8 inch, and shaped in a geometric shape. Each bead is individually tied with copper colored cord so they are all oriented differently and reflect the light in interesting patterns for a beautiful effect. The hardware is well made and the lobster clasp is large and works smoothly. I am very happy with this necklace; it is unusual and fun to wear. It goes well with everything in my everyday wardrobe, from t-shirts to sweaters and denim jackets. It's well made and I think the current price of $16.99 is very reasonable.
