These are capsules of Tide detergent ONLY, nothing else. No stain remover or color protector like Tide Pods Liquid Laundry Detergent, Fresh Coral Blast, 81 Count. Refreshing breeze - a pleasant aroma; Personally, however, I prefer the original 3-in-1 pads with stain remover and color protection. I also prefer buying PODS in a tube rather than a bag (which currently doesn't come in a tube). There's not a huge price difference between the 3-in-1 and this Tide to justify not even having a stain remover. I have been using PODS for many years. since they even came out. Now I only use PODS. mainly tide and gain. For most loads I use 2 Capsules plus Clorox 2 Stain Remover & Color Booster Kits Laundry Bags 40 (6 Pack). NOTE (Helpful Hints): Sometimes capsules can get stuck to clothing, especially if you have an extra full load of clothing. I've noticed this with older washing machines too (no HE's that need to be completely filled with water). After getting my new front loader HE and then top loader HE, I only notice this when the load is too full and/or filled with heavy items (like beach towels, duvets, duvets, etc.). If it's only on a few items, you can simply wash them under warm water and rub to remove them. If it's due to many things, the easiest way is to just put the load back in the washer with the rinse. Whatever you do, don't put them in the dryer with POD residue on your clothes, they'll burn. If you notice this after it's gone through the dryer, it's usually removed by the washing machine in hot water.
