I've been using Braun razors for many years and have bought a few replacement heads. This one fits my razor perfectly, but overall the design is cheaper than the original head. While the original headshell was metal, this one is plastic. Not sure if the blades are the same because after about a month of use they are already starting to feel dull and pulling on my beard instead of trimming it properly. Keep in mind that I don't have a thick beard and I only shave every other day. I looked at replacement heads at a store and they appear to be identical to my originals, so I'm not sure why there could be different heads with the same model number. In the photo you can see a black plastic head and a silver metal head. I plan to come back to this review in a month if the situation worsens.
