Seems to be a pretty good ball trap that is well made. Installation was tedious, but that was to be expected. The holding pressure is quite good, but not strong. I hoped this would stop the cats from trying to force the door open, but they still managed to get past it. The reason for the 2 stars is that one day I opened the door and there was a loud *THWACK* noise. Not knowing what it was and wondering why the steel ball was bouncing around the room, it only took me a second to realize that the ring holding the ball in place came loose and the ball went into the Closet next to the door was thrown. which made a very strong impression. If he had hit me it would no doubt have hurt as much as Dickens. I believe it was installed about a year before the explosion.
