Great value but double whammy with small compressors

Well I have at least 10 nail guns - from finishing to roofing. I needed a new roll fairing nailer after losing my Hitachi. However, I was reluctant to spend another $350 on a job I don't do often. So I got this one for 60% of the price. My first impression of this gun was mixed. It had better specs than the Hitachi and Dewalt I've used such as B. Jack Fire, rafter hook, adjustable exhaust and single or auto fire. That said, most professional brands don't have them, or have inconvenient flaws that prevent you from using them, such as: B. Fixed hooks, trigger settings and closed exhaust. However, it is clear that this weapon is not intended for use. continuous daily use when you look at the trigger, spool guard and depth adjustment. The trigger is perhaps the weakest and cheapest I've ever used. The coil protector will not withstand a hard fall. The depth setting is cumbersome. It is also not as balanced as most other nailers and is significantly larger. In terms of performance, I'm more than satisfied. It drives nails just as well as the Makita, Hitachi, and Dewalt nail guns I've used. From fiber cement to hardwood. The results are excellent - mostly. The biggest problem is that this weapon is much more prone to double shots than most. Double shot is a serious problem. It can split fiber cement or split hardwood. This pistol is very prone to double fire when using smaller compressors. To explain better, you shouldn't be using pancake compressors or compact woofers (>5 cfm @ 90) anyway. Roller and roof guards use significantly more air due to the nature of their work, as siding and shingles require many more nails per unit area. However, most people and professionals are not interested in it. So if you're a pancake lover, don't buy this gun or you'll be in trouble. This weapon will fire twice if you're hammering in a lot of nails and your compressor doesn't have enough air to keep up with demand. . Strange right? Most guns will not fire or will dry fire if the pressure is too low or there is not enough air to meet demand. gallon, 25 gallon and 60 gallon. No wonder it often worked twice on my pancakes and was motor operated, but never twice on a 25 or 60 gallon. Since then I've only used up my 25 gallons and rarely fired twice. That is the nature of this mechanism. Fastening wires eat away and glue builds up. This weapon jammed as many times as any other I've used. Overall I would recommend this pistol to most consumers and professionals doing small scale repairs or touch ups.
