Just received with a broken plastic mount. The quality of the egg holder is questionable. The seller resolved this issue promptly, a very responsible seller IMO. The device makes a solid impression, good workmanship on the outside, clean stainless steel on the inside. The lid is insulated so it doesn't get hot (but the jar does get hot, so be careful!) The device has 2 temperature settings: high and low. I filled the bowl 75% full of water and it took about 8 minutes to boil, not that bad! The only improvement is the inability to remove the lower bowl for cleaning. It's quite difficult to wash without getting the floor wet, so be careful when cleaning.
