Overall, this is a great bike rack that easily places two Electra Beach Cruisers in close proximity to the wall. In fact, I only installed three racks – two Fender versions for our cruisers and a regular road bike version. Each rack was mounted to a rack that was the standard 16 inch spacing from center - the cruisers at the ends and the racing wheel in the middle. This allowed three bikes to be stored compactly vertically within 3 feet of a wall, no easy feat given the width of a cruiser handlebar. The cruiser racks were hung at the same height, while the road bike rack was offset by about 6 inches. cruiser wings. The only downside here (and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5) is that the instructions clearly tell you to use a certain size drill bit to make the pilot holes. This is normal when installing in brick or cinder block as you are using the anchors provided, but when installing in wood the pilot hole is too large and the bolt will slip out. Also, I had to adjust the post placement a little higher than I had planned. More annoying than anything, but check hardware and drill bit size before installing.
