My son is almost 10 so I bought medium. He's small so the body and sleeves are a bit long, but he likes it bigger and covers his body more - we only rolled the sleeves up a couple of times. We could walk in the drizzle in Florida today without bringing umbrellas, so it was great! We just pull up our hoods and we're ready to go. He's really into that style too, so it's an all-round win. Definitely recommend!
