When I started having trouble digesting whey protein, I went vegan. Vegan proteins are usually much easier to digest, but to be honest most of them are poor substitutes; or with terrible texture, taste, or macrobalance. This one has all three. It's slightly thicker than whey protein, but doesn't stiffen or harden. It mixes easily with almond milk or water. Tastes like chocolate with the perfect sweetness. I've also been looking for a low carb vegan protein for a long time and this is my favorite! I use it for simple protein shakes, smoothies, bowls and baked goods. I've tried both vanilla and chocolate and I have no hesitation in recommending either of them.
