Purchased for use on Hopper Saucer and Joey. Works perfectly. Bought another hard drive offered by Dish online. The disk's hard drive failed after 13 months. Fandom looks much better and faster. This is Seagate. The only dish for sale was a western. This one is also cheaper than the one sold by the slab. You can buy a service to retrieve data in case of hard drive failure. Think about it, when my Dish hard drive failed I lost all the movies on the drive. Plug & Play works great. Comes with its own power supply. So if you are checking out Dish's requirements for an external hard drive, this is for you. Comes with USB 3. Works with USB 2.
