This laptop stand is made of plastic and is therefore very light. But it's strong enough to hold my 6+ pound workstation. I'm really surprised! Has two lifting options. The first stands on two legs and appears to be fixed. You either use them or keep them stacked. The second option uses a metal stand attached to a plastic base. You can change it to get the angle. Combining both options I think I can reach over 12 inches in height. I love it so far. Highly recommended.
