Review on Dorman 912 020 Release Cable Chevrolet by Quvarious Morrow

Couldn't find a hood release cable for my 90's Dodge D150, bought this one because it was the right length. It works for my truck but it's not perfect. The word "hood" is written vertically, the mounts of the mine are horizontal. My original mount had 4 screws, this one only has 2 but the spacing is the same as my original. When installing, the cable has an extra 1/2 inch of slack, so I had to add a rubber grommet to hold the end of the cable in the latch. Overall it fits well considering they don't make it for my truck. .
