I've been ordering these SlimRun cables for about 2 years now and absolutely love them. They are ideal for use in control cabinets or patch panels as they take up very little space. I also didn't notice any negative effects from heat or disturbances. After running about 150 of these in a stack of switches, there are no port errors, which is impressive. They seem to be coping well with the heat in the back of the closet. where about 100+ degrees. But no problem. The space saving is incredible. I couldn't be happier. I give one star for the quality as they are not cheap but worth the money. I also gave it a star for durability as the cord can easily be ripped out of the trunk if you're not careful. For example, I forgot to disconnect two cables when pushing the server out of the rack and it just snapped my boots. A normal/larger CAT6 would hold back the server.
