Advantages: 4 modes: adult forehead, child forehead, ear mode and object mode. Temperatures are accurate. Please note that the thermometer and the user must be in the same room for at least 30 minutes before taking a measurement. An additional 10 seconds between each measurement. At first I had some trouble reading carefully. Acoustic and visual fever warning. I like that I can notify when the measurement is finished and when there is a high temperature. 40 stored temperature readings. You can check previous measurements. I want to include the time and date. Free bag for a safe and clean thermometer. Cons: The Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion toggle is incorrect. It seems they switched places. No (2) AAA batteries included. Even though it's a cheap battery, at least it's ready to use right out of the box. This would be particularly important for a thermometer. There seem to be a few grammatical issues that can be confusing, but common sense will solve them. I would recommend that someone check spelling and grammar before releasing a product. It makes the product appear cheaper, doesn't detract from usability, but doesn't sell itself as premium. I wish it had better materials for the $80 price tag. Maybe it's personal preference, but white plastic might look better on black. Stainless steel around the button or similar would have made it a better quality. The bag also looks cheap but I consider it extra. In general, it copes with its task. Although there are some things that could have easily been fixed sooner that would have made it even better.
