This gun works well and is of good solid construction. I bought it mainly to protect various components and modifications on the circuit boards from vibrations used in harsh conditions. It works well, and once it gets to full temperature (which takes a little longer than I'd like, but it's by no means a big deal) it squeezes the glue out in earnest. As with many glue guns, the tip will sometimes leak when not in use, but I've seen a lot worse than this. The included black glue sticks are pretty serious. I learned this the hard way after using them to attach something I later wanted to remove. It wasn't easy to remove. This is usually the intended purpose, so I think it's a good thing. Use it sparingly though, as black glue is even more difficult to cut/shave off with a knife than what I've also covered. Overall a glue gun with excellent performance.
