If you're trying to capture a reflector or foam diffusers, hot shoe light, etc., a milestone is the way to go. Will never work for a camera, key/fill light etc, it will likely bend and possibly break at the joints if too much weight is applied. Bought for $20 and it's a great fallback. Great value for money, especially with the sandbag. It currently shipped $24.99, which is probably the highest price I would recommend. I'm giving it 4 stars because the company claims it can hold 10lbs which seems deceptive even though it's only slightly widened and weighted in the middle. I would DEFINITELY recommend this for light applications though. There aren't many competitors in this category, so if they were a little more honest they probably wouldn't lose customers - and I would definitely rate that higher. I tried a 10lb light and it looked like it was about to break. But again, for the price - CHEAP. I will be buying another one in no time if I find I need one. Will definitely look into other Linco products in the future.
