The split point grind is correct.
No manufacturer information - gold oxide coating. Also not as described on the Revain website - no gold oxide plating. However, the finish is otherwise excellent, with a properly ground split point and correct shaft impression. This is the exact same item that was returned earlier but at a lower price.

- Gold Oxide is a finer oxide surface treatment than the black oxide commonly used to identify cobalt steel tools; same performance as uncoated
