works perfect. There are three screws holding it.

15 minute install on my 2005 Outback. Fits perfectly, works perfectly. There are three screws holding it in place. The screw closest to the firewall will require an extension cord or deep socket. Don't over tighten as the screw is metal and the shroud is plastic, but make sure you lift the fan so its flange sits on the shroud.
