Although I've heard of Scythe before, I personally haven't bought any of their products before this cooler. What brought me to them was the good reviews from general users as well as good reviews from scientific reviewers showing that this cooler is one of the best in the low-profile category. Initially I really wanted to use the Noctua NH-L9i as I have used Noctua a lot and am familiar with their performance and quality. However, I was surprised to find, at least in terms of scientific reviewers, that it wasn't as good as this cooler. I have this cooler on an i5-9600K powering my mining rig (yes it's definitely too powerful a processor for a mining rig, but I wanted a processor that could also be used for regular use after my mining days are over) and performance has been great so far. Of course, since the installation is used for mining, it is not overclocked, but simply works on the backbone, BUT the temperature does not exceed 67 ° C, even when the processor is under load. It's also important to note that this cooler is as quiet as it is good. In the past I've performed well with the Hyper 212 Evo, Hyper 212 Black, Hyper 212 RGB, NH-D15 Chromax and Zalman CNPS9700-NT and this is no different. In fact, Zalman is currently still running on my Q9450, which is also used in mining, but due to the size of the coolers, it's very difficult to work on this rig, so I'm considering switching to Scythe as well. everything - I am very satisfied with this cooler. It meets all my requirements, is well made, works well, installs easily and runs quietly even under load. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a low profile cooler who would also like to tick those boxes. It is also a universal cooler that can be installed on many platforms, including older ones.
