I have a working low voltage white outdoor string light. The controller is called Intertek 501191. This controller is no longer operational. I tested an existing row with another set's controller and the set works fine. So I was sure that the new controller would get the string working again. The cord isn't very expensive, but we love the variety of lighting effects it creates, so we wanted to keep it if possible. I'm having trouble finding the same controller 5011191. I found the description for the device I am writing about. and noted that the input and output characteristics are almost the same, plus the description of the effects that this controller seems to match the original. Upon arrival, I noticed that the two controllers weren't exactly the same size; the new one is a little smaller. Oh, I thought, maybe that's not possible. I attached the new controller to the headlights, plugged in the controller and turned it on. Shazam! It works like clockwork and hasn't caused any problems at night for about a week with normal use around the Christmas period. I would say we're back in business and I'm very happy with that. Five stars.
