Review on Digi-Sense-AO-37804-04 - High Accuracy Calibrated RTD Freezer Digital Thermometer with Stainless Steel Probe by Richard Lamptey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Calibration with traceable certificate works as promised. The Max/Min function is very useful.

This thermometer does not come with a bracket as shown in the photo. But it is as advertised. The handle of the temperature sensor is made of black plastic, 3/4 inch in diameter and 5.5 inches long, and the metal part of the sensor is 7 inches long. This makes it rather bulky. I suspect that the pen cannot withstand the temperatures that the sensor can register. . The cable has a 1.5 inch strain relief on the probe handle. Comes with a traceable certificate of calibration. Calibration points "Nominal" followed by "As Left" 0.99 °С. Calibration performed on April 17, 2018, next calibration due in 2020. Very useful Max/Min function. I think this could be the main standard for testing all other thermometers in a building, as well as the range of change over a set period of time in different ovens and refrigerators.

Pros
  • Thermometer
Cons
  • Very expensive
