Great potential but missing the mark

I thought this was the perfect COVID-19 setup for a school desk, a desktop to place anywhere in the house for a quick work meeting or school Zoom session. and that. But there are several serious problems. DO NOT use the screws provided as everyone else states in their reviews that they will go all the way through the countertop and stick out on your desk, idiot someone gets fired for that accident. Well, I read the reviews ahead of time, went to HD and bought some 3/4"#8 self-tapping wood screws for $2.50. For this to be a perfect table, it needs to be self-tapping with the right size screws Steel framed rectangular legs as the table top is too thin to be the only support for the 4 legs Say it needs a thicker table top 1.25" thick table top would be nice it would be worth the price tag. That means if you pull the legs a little the table top will flex and flex, if you pull fuuu it's crap and for the price they sell it for what the heck you don't need 2 people around a table to build not sure why in the manual they say you do that. you need more tools smarter than what they claim. To install the legs you will need a 1/2" or 13mm wrench, adjustable wrenches are too thick you will need to use a fixed size open end wrench. They have really fancy legs that look like they have bearings in them spin amazingly well and not sure why they need to spin at all.
